HollywoodPoker Girl Amber Mekush will be playing at the World Series of Poker 2010. She has played in poker ournaments in Sweden, the Bahamas, Vegas and Los Angeles; and has even hosted several celeb-studded charity poker events in the lavish Hills of Beverly.

Amber first learned to play poker from her father in their ritual “after dinner games.” Her mom would clear the table, and using just spare change she learned Stud. “It’s the way I bonded with my dad as a child.” This kept on for years, yet still dormant as a serious passion. However, when the recent worldwide poker craze came about, she was ready for it.

Amber was traveling for modeling jobs all over the world and would seek out tourneys wherever she was at the time. Then after moving to Los Angeles, she began playing for Hollywoodpoker.com and became one of their first spokesmodels, learning the art of online poker, and calendar signings.
Not only does Amber enjoy playing the ever-popular “Hold em”, but she can often be found in a casino playing Baccarat, Blackjack, Pai Gow and her absolute favorite, Craps!

Amber Mekush has modeled for Playboy and Hawaiian Tropic a great deal in the last few years, but that’s not something she’d likely mention in conversation. Perhaps her most interesting pursuit has been of the adrenaline kind. Amber has over 25 basejumps, 200 skydives and has been diving, sans cage, with many of the oceans most dangerous predators, including bull and tiger sharks… and she has the videos to prove it!

As a personal trainer and nutritionist, she has made it her mission to inform everyone of their health and conscious potential. She runs the holistic health news website

holisticanswers.org and while living in Miami gave lectures at Universities on holistic living. Currently, Amber Mekush lives in Manhattan studying singing and acting.
